In Bangalore, a special mounted traffic police use the fastest Indian bikes to chase traffic offenders. They are called the Hoysala. Their bikes are painted in the colours of the Asiatic Cheetah and make for a comical appearance.

I believe this is common practice in North East India, ingenious, cheap and simple… only thing is, I wonder how people get on and off.
